I feel like everything's gone by so quick. Maybe I'm alone on this but I have a feeling I'm not. Leaving in 4 days (maybe 6) but tomorrow I'm going up to orlando with two great friends and we're just gonna chill up there for a day or two to make sure the bus can handle the distance ahead of it. Two days ago I went to the Emmure show. was pretty intense despite the terrible bands that had to play before them. just not my cup of tea.
Almost done with my third and final reading of house of leaves. Or what I think may be the final reading. I always seem to get pulled back into that book no matter how much I tell myself I want to read other books. I guess its knowing that the other books I have are nowhere near the greatness within the bindings of MZD's books.
I'm bringing my recording gear up with me to north carolina. maybe make a christmas song or something. whatever it is I know it will be awesome. I'm meeting a great musician up there who really knows his stuff. Im thankful that I know him.. just not for the distance between our creative minds.
-cheers

school is coming to an end (that I couldn't be more happy about). I've just about finished restoring my van. I've redone the door panels and stained them a nice dark maple wood and fastened with these pretty nifty door fasteners. The hole [huge tear] at the top of the camper is now patched and looks great. the biggest improvement (I'd have to say) is the instillation of this new 3/4'' shag carpet I installed into the floor and a part of the roof. the last thing I did was throw in two batteries and now I believe she's ready for north Carolina. It's been fun. At least in the little time it's been. next semester is not only going to be a little harder but hopefully quicker.
since this is pretty much my last post I guess it's safe to say where and what I'll be doing in the next few years. Me and a good friend of mine are planing on purchasing a nice large plot of land either in the norther to mid west or perhaps in Canada. Both equally beautiful. Driving up there and leaving everything behind. Building a cabin and living off the land. although it's rough it is livable. I want to do this to get away from everything. no phones no Internet no electricity. just fishing and growing.
